Francesco Perugini is Post-doc Researcher at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy). Previously he was Post-doc at the Department of Economics, Society and Politics, University of Urbino Carlo Bo, and had a fellowship contract at University of Macerata and University of Molise. Before joining the academia, he worked at the Industrial and Regional Studies division at Prometeia (Bologna). He is also a Research Associate at the Liverpool Research Group in Macroeconomics. His research interests focuses on open innovation, the role of university technology transfer activity and its influence on startup formation, and regional economics. He holds an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Cardiff University.
