GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) is a networked consortium of national country teams that carries out survey-based research on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship ecosystems around the world.
GEM is primarily associated with top academic institutions and is the only global research source that collects data on entrepreneurship directly from individual entrepreneurs. GEM tools and data are therefore unique and benefit numerous stakeholder groups.
CII has been involeved in the GEM survey since 2016 and is responsible for the Italian GEM survery since 2018.
