Martina Orci

Title: Post-doc researcher

Short bio: Martina Orci is a Post-Doc Researcher in Applied Economics at Università Politecnica delle Marche. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Engineering at Faculty of Engineering of Università Politecnica delle Marche, with the thesis on technological sovereignty, development and adoption of digital technologies. Since 2025 she is involved in teaching “Business Economics” at the bachelor's level at Università Politecnica delle Marche.
She is a member of the editorial board of “Economia Marche – Journal of Applied Economics”.
Martina has collaborated in many research activities with the Aristide Merloni Foundation carrying out analyses on the entrepreneurial system in the Marche region.
Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the digital transformation of firms. In particular, she examines digital technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, along with the factors that may influence their adoption and diffusion within firms.
She is also involved in various research projects such as PRIN-PNRR and Erasmus+.
