Bio: Marco Ciro Liscio holds a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy). He earned a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Systems Engineering for Agrifood from the University of Foggia in 2019 and a Master's degree in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari in 2021.
His research has primarily focused on sustainable energy systems, with emphasis on cost–benefit analysis (CBA) and the development of business plans for innovative green enterprises within the context of project design for EU funded projects. His current research is rooted in the principles of Circular Economy and environmental sustainability, with the goal of promoting systemic transitions toward more resource-efficient industrial models. Within this framework, he applies Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies to the textile sector, developing strategies and tools to support innovative, low-impact business models that align with long-term environmental and economic goals.
