Paolo Sospiro is post doc at CII and coordinator of the Sustainability and Digitalization research area. He is graduated in Political Economy at University of Ancona (Polytechnic University of Marche) and PhD in Development Economics at University of Florence. He is external researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of University of Florence (Florence, Italy) and he is Director of EUAbout in Brussels (www.eu-about.eu, Belgium).
He is lecturer on Economics at University Ecampus at the Faculty of Engineering. He is advisor of Skillman and Alto Valore network and member of InnovAzione and Ares 2.0.
He is specialized on public policy and particularly on Services of General Interest (Energy, Waste Management and circular economy, Water Supply, Transport and Education) related to innovation (digitalization and green transition).
He published different books and articles on international scientific journals. He has been visiting PhD student at European University Institute (Fiesole, Florence, Italy) and Erasmus Visiting Student at the ISCTE (Lisbon, Portugal).
He has been visiting scholar-professor at the Beijing Normal University (Beijing, China), Institute for Work and Technology of University of Dortmund (Gelsenkirchen, Germany) and Institute for Social Studies of the Lisbon University (Lisbon, Portugal).
